Midland Hospital commits to enhancing their quality of care with Decision Critical

Midland Memorial Hospital is the latest healthcare organization to make the move to the Decision Critical, Inc (DCI) suite of online tools in an effort to better manage the proficiency of their nursing staff. As more hospitals start to look at how they can transform themselves with an emphasis on delivering a higher quality of care to their patients, they are looking to Decision Critical for assistance in helping to train, evaluate and assess their teams. The tools offered by the company let hospitals keep the training of their nursing staff up to date and their facility in compliance. A key benefit cited by Midland is that the DCI tools help in dramatically reducing the time and resources it takes to generate their regular reporting requirements for their Magnet designation. Something which often requires a full time resource months to compile in order for the hospital keep the designation.

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System switches to Decision Critical

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System switches to Decision Critical
Following an intense evaluation process, the largest health system in Louisiana, the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System(FMOLHS) made the decision to switch their learning management system vendor to Decision Critical, Inc. (DCI).

One of the factors cited by FMOLHS is that the DCI solution included a greater set of functionality, including the ability to be able to create and track attendance at both online and live training events. In addition, the DCI solution was considered to have a much more intuitive interface, allowing users and administrators to get up to speed a lot faster. The strong relationship and customer support which had been developed with a recent FMOLHS hospital acquisition who were already using the DCI solution was also a key factor in their decision.
