ASP, .NET, MVC Web Application Developer
Decision Critical, Inc., a leading provider of Web-based solutions for the healthcare industry, is growing and looking for a dynamic ASP.NET MVC developer. The successful candidate will become a member of a cross-functional team responsible for new and ongoing development of our established Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application suite. Experience with .NET 2.0 – 4.0 technologies, ASP.NET MVC, C#\VB.NET, WCF, XML, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, is important as are front-end skills including HTML, JavaScript (JQuery) and CSS. Experience with AJAX\JSON is a plus. SQL Server skills are essential.
Job Description
Experience with on-line Learning Management Systems, SCORM\AICC would also be a plus. An understanding of Classic ASP would also be useful in supporting legacy code.
The ideal candidate is an open-minded team-player with a natural propensity to share concepts and techniques as well as foster and encourage the sharing of knowledge. As a member of the team you will participate in the technical design of enterprise solutions including UML modeling, functional design, testing, and configuration management. Participate and/or lead requirements analysis, engineering sizing, object oriented analysis, design and implementations. Create and manage project plans and individual development schedules. Consult with business analysts and other project team members to design, create, test and deliver new and evolving application features. Provide support and undertakes bug fixes to existing code.
Skills/Requirements:
- 5+ years web development experience using ASP, ASP.Net, C# or VB.Net – 2+ years SQL Server (2000-2008) with database design experience

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide world class customer service
- Design and develop new data-driven applications (front and back end)
- Identify improvements for existing web applications, customer specific web applications and internal custom applications
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions to drive functional requirements and design specifications
- Interact with team members to provide support and technical guidance
Education:
- B.S. Computer Science or B.A. and commensurate experience
