Client Services - Key Account Manager

Decision Critical, Inc., a leading provider of web-based solutions for the healthcare industry, is growing and looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, boundary spanner to perform account management activities that support Decision Critical and our clients.

The ideal candidate is an open-minded team-player with amazing communication skills, an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a natural ability to create and maintain relationships. As a member of our growing team, you will play a central role in day-to-day operations, client support, client implementations and account management.

Your interactions with the sales, marketing, technical and operations teams will provide you the opportunity to utilize your proven skills. This is a growth opportunity for a creative professional looking to start on the ground floor with an industry-leading company in a growth market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure retention of revenue and client referrals based off superior client satisfaction.
  • Use those relationships to identify additional Decision Critical opportunities.
  • Develop communication plans to fulfill client communication expectations.
  • Develop detailed product knowledge and be ready to train clients on each application.
  • Provide assistance to the technical support team in dealing with client issues to ensure client issues are resolved, communicated and closed.
  • Maintain knowledge of product and product-related technologies by attending and participating in training on assigned products, internal meetings, workshops and other available training opportunities.
  • Be available to attend Trade Shows to optimize networking opportunities with clients.

Requirements:

  • 5 years account management experience, healthcare experience is preferable.
    Experience as a Registered Nurse is a plus!
  • Ability to successfully manage business relationships.
  • Ability to respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email and onsite, if applicable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • B.S. / B.A. Degree or relevant certification(s).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, office systems such scanners and printers.
  • Proficiency in CRM packages, Salesforce.com experience is preferable.
  • Ability to work and excel in a fast-paced team environment.

Travel Expectations: < 5%

This position will be located in our central Austin headquarters office and you may be asked to travel to conferences, clients or educational seminars.
